Project Description: The site brought a unique and exciting opportunity for DPA to design a high-quality development within a Conservation Area, but with considerable design freedom due to the backland nature of the site.

 

DPA’s Architects and Planners worked closely with London Borough of Enfield’s Planning and Conservation Officers to design a contemporary terrace of 5 houses, working to minimise impacts on not only the conservation area, but also numerous trees, constrained site access and surrounding neighbouring homes.

The approved scheme will see the delivery of 4 x four bed and 1 x 3 bed homes, making more efficient use of a site currently occupied by a single 3 bed bungalow.
